With long shoots in the studio, and rushing around campus, the end of the week couldn’t come soon enough – and I’m not one for wishing my life away just for the weekends.
I had fun lighting and grading this one.
My usual evening time-killers (ie. cooking) have been non-existent due to large amounts of leftovers, so I’ve been trying to read more. I’m sure I’m not the only one who wishes they made more time for reading, especially in an ever increasing screen based lifestyle.
I’ve just finished a borrowed graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malley (creator of Scott Pilgrim), as well as progressing through the The Last Policeman series.
I always enjoy graphic novels, but burn through them so quickly. This was no exception. It felt like a hour long TV episode, with short character arches, and quick wrap-ups. Saying that, I enjoyed it very much and would happily recommend it to people who haven’t read graphic novels before.
Mini Milestone
Having owned my car 6 years I’ve finally reached 100,000 miles. As a 12 year old car, it’s serving me pretty well.
Helen and I are about to become proud homeowners, so we thought it about time we get all grown up and get a sofa. Here’s hoping Sophie-cat doesn’t ruin it instantly – any tips?
