This week seemed similar to last. Rather quiet, with a bug going around work, it was my team’s turn to have days off throughout the week.
Managed to spend a few hours out in Burton on Saturday, enjoying some of our local shops, and more importantly the views 🙂
We’re very fortunate to live a few meters away from the river and the long tree-lined paths. They offer a great view of the river and its floodplains, no matter the time of year.
Helen and I both loved how still it seemed. A massive mirror.
And this is the big bang.
As I collected Helen after work late Friday night, a taxi almost drove into back of me. To avoid him I took a corner too soon, clipping the curb and blowing the tyre completely.
