Second week of my job and it finally feels like I’m getting stuck into things. Despite the change in location and job, I feel very relaxed and ‘at home’.
With no real plans for the evenings I actually went home to Helen one night, and visited my big brother another night. Although not really alone, my digs feel rather lonesome and quiet some days, so the company was welcome.
After almost a week of waiting for kit, it arrived minutes before a shoot. Feel very lucky to have a new c100 mkii and a fancy mac pro.
With days apart from Helen it does feel like we make use of our weekends together. This weekend we went to a demonstration farm in west birmingham – I stroked a cow!
Then onto the city centre for some shopping, food, and the cinema. Just nice to be out and about together.
